Under the auspice of the vice rector for Students' Affairs (Women Section), Dr. Bushra Bent Ahamd Alhamad, Al-Kharj Community College hosted the event of the 89th National Day on Wednesday corresponding to 26/01/1441 AH. First of all, the celebration started with inaugurating an Exhibition displaying the event and the main pillars of the occasion, which are derived from the National Transformation Program of 2030 Vision that narrated the development of Saudi Arabia since its early foundation by King Abdul-Aziz bin Abdurrahman until the era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz. It also introduced audience to the Kingdom's renaissance at different walks of life. Secondly, the oratory section commenced with reciting verses from the Glorious Qur'an, followed by the Saudi National Anthem. In addition, Dr. Bushra Bent Ahamd Alhamad, the sponsor of the celebration delivered her speech in which she talked briefly about the history of the Kingdom and how the founder could unite the sprawling land under the banner of monotheism motto, namely, "there is no god but Allah." She also tackled the progress occurring in Saudi Arabia in all walks of life particularly education with special emphasis on Women and her lofty position in 2030 Vision. She concluded her speech by extending her deep thanking to Dr. Hamd bin Abdullah Al-Qomizi, the dean of Community College and the deputy of Community College, Dr. Amina Almeshen, the faculty members and administrative staff for their efforts exerted for the best interest of the college.Thirdly, Dr. Amina Almeshen, the Community College Deputy, delivered her speech and talked about the unity of the nation and the implications of pride and dignity of the National Day for every citizen. She thanked the vice rector for Students' Affairs (Women Section) for her honoring the celebration by her presence. She also expressed her gratitude not only for the dean of the Community College Dr. Hamd bin Abdullah Al-Qomizi,, for his efforts rendered for developing the college, but also for all college affiliates for their efforts. She extended her thanking to the deputies of colleges and deputies of deanships and University School officials for their attendance the celebration. Fourthly, Dr. Hamd bin Abdullah Al-Qomizi, delivered his speech that started with mentioning the efforts of the founder of the Kingdom to unify the sprawling lands of the nation and the great progress of the nation at different aspects of life. He also asserted the idea that the Saudi Kingdom will remain the oasis for safe and security. He also extended his thanking to Dr. Amina Almeshen and administrative and academic staff for their efforts. Fifthly, Dr. Nawal Alrashoud run a panel discussion entitled, "Saudi Nation: A Journey of Offering." A visual presentation concerning the achievements of the Kingdom and Saudi Women achievements was introduced. In addition, a group of female students from the University school introduced a presentation entitled a "National Contribution." Finally, the celebration was concluded by a speech delivered by the students of the College in which they expressed their belonging and gratitude to their nation and the implications of pride and dignity of reflected by such an occasion.
