- Identification:
A faculty member entitled to supervise graduate studies, scientific research and community service and achieve academic accreditation and evaluation standards for educational processes in the academic departments, controlling the quality of administrative work within the college and enhancing and spreading the culture of performance in all spheres.
- Reporting Structure:
TheVice Dean for Graduate Studies, Scientific Research and Community Service reports to the Dean of the college in addition to being a member of the college’s board.
- Duties of the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Scientific Research and Community Service:
- Implementing and following up the college’s policy in scientific research, quality, and community service.
- Supervising the activities and developing the college’s capabilities in the field of scientific research.
- Supervising the development of the research strategy and plan and setting mechanisms of implementation in the college.
- Supervising the development of community service strategy and plan and setting mechanisms of implementation in the college.
- Receiving and following the departments' needs of researchers, faculty members and teaching assistants in various specializations.
- Supervisingthe college scholarships abroad.
- Receiving departmental decisions regarding the requests of graduate students and sending them to the Deanship of Graduate Studies after Board’sapproval.
- Coordinating with the Deanship of Scientific Research at the university and other research institutions with regard toconducting research bythe college’s faculty membersand provide funding for them.
- Submitting periodic reports to the Dean of the college on the progress of work for units under his supervision in accordance with the tasks assigned to each unit, and the difficulties encountered.
- Supervising the units affiliated to the graduate studies and scientific research in the college.

- Continue updating the college’s website regarding its Vice Rectorate and its affiliated units.
- Executing the work assigned to him by the dean of the college.
- Promoting the concept of quality and spreading its culture at the college.
- Supervising the implementation of the college's quality program.
- Supervising the performance evaluation in the college.
- Supervising the implementation of the academic evaluation and accreditation program.
- Preparing and implementing the college's development and strategic plans.
- Supervising the work of the Information Technology Center (Unit).
- Study the difficulties or problems facing development and quality programs and propose solutions to them.
- Determine the specialized training needs of the faculty members in the academic departments of the college and coordinate with the Deanship of Skills Development in its implementation.
- Encouraging faculty members to participate in attending courses, programs and workshops offered by the Deanship of Skills Development.
- Supervising the preparation of a plan to develop the skills of the college affiliates, including faculty, staff, and students, and coordinate with the relevant authorities of the university.
- Supervising the use of technologies, e-learning, educational media and distance education in teaching and learning within the college.
- Supervising the preparation of the college’s annual report and distributing it to the competent authorities after approval by the dean.

- Overseeing the implementation of matters referred to it which arerelated to development and quality.
- Implementing and following up the activities of creativity and excellence awards in academic, research and career performance at the college.
- Developing appropriate interim plans for the periodic review of the approved quality standards to ensure continuous improvement in the performance of the academic departments and administrative units of the college.
- Establishing a mechanism to identify the expectations, requirements and level of satisfaction of the college clients (internal and external) and communicate them to all academic departments and related administrative units.
- Implementing and following up on the evaluation and development of the teaching performance of faculty members and helpingthem to achieve professional and academic excellence.
- Recommending the appointment of supervisors for its units and departments.
- Addressing the relevant authorities inside and outside the university in the jurisdiction and scope of the vice rectorate's work.
- Taking the internal decisions required by the proper functioning of the Vice Rectorate and its units in accordance with the laws and regulations.
- Evaluating the performance of Vice Rectorate’s employees.
- Approval of spending from the Vice Rectorate's budget in accordance with the regulations.

➤ Quality and Academic accreditation Unit
The quality and accreditation unit ensures that the quality standards are to be followed by the college academic and administrative departments. The unit is also responsible of the following tasks:
1- The implementation of and following the quality assurance procedures in the college as required by the Administration of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the university.
2- Preparing and submitting reports to the Administration of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the university.
3- Nominating faculty to attend seminars, training courses, and conferences which are related to evaluation, quality, and academic accreditation at the university and outside.
4- Preparing reports regarding the implementation of evaluation and quality applications in the college.
5- Monitoring the writing of periodic reports for the programs and curriculums.
6- Monitoring the application of evaluation standards to measure the quality of educational programs and teaching, and the services provided to the students.
7- Forming teams and committees needed to fulfill the tasks related to evaluation and quality assurance.
8- The continuous coordination with the Administration of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the university.
9- Monitoring the implementation of standards and procedures of quality applications received from the Administration of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the university
10- Providing support and counseling regarding evaluation and quality in the college.
11- Preparing plans for self-evaluation and implementing them.
12- Work jointly with the administration of the quality and academic accreditation in the University for organizing meetings, lectures, seminars, preparing evidence and broachers.
Strategic Planning Unit:
The Strategic planning unit assumes the following responsibilities:
1-Preparing the investment plan enterprises in the light of the suggestions of the concerned directorates and departments.
2-Following up the implementation of the plan and preparing the related reports.
3-Preparing and implementing the strategic plans in order to improve the quality at the level of the quality and its academic departments.
Unit of Statistics and Data
The unit of statistics and data assume the following responsibilities:
1-Collecting data and statistics from the directorates, and the administrations of the colleges pursuant to the effective instructions.
2-Classfying data pertaining to the activities of the college and putting the reports concerning these activities in order.
3-Preparing the statistical studies relating to the activities of the college.
4- Preparing all the necessary statistical data required by the college and or from the concerned authorities.
Administrative Development Unit
The Administrative Development Department exercises the following tasks and specialities:
1 Study and follow up the development of the organizational structure of the College,
2 Establish an integrated job description for all the basic jobs in the College,
3 Develop and implement training as an integrated management process with a focus on three basic phases:
- Determine the actual needs of the training programmes,
- Work on organizing training programme,
- Follow-up and evaluation of training results for the purpose of increasing its effectiveness.
4 -Encourage communication between the Department of Administrative Development and other departments through periodic meetings in order to know their development needs and to follow up on the results of training programmes or provide management expertise.
5- Sign up College staff to vocational training and behavioural rehabilitation programmes, individually or collectively, in light of the goals envisaged by such programmes.
The training and qualification programmes in the College aim to achieve the following:
1. Equipping workers with the right technical skills and theoretical know-how, in order to empower them with the appropriate skills that enable them to exercise the duties entrusted to them in their jobs, and to raise the level of their job performance, which in turn will help achieve the goals of the College efficiently,
2. Increase and completedata and develop knowledge in the light of the College missions and objectives.
3. Develop individual and group skills by making use of modern technological amenities.
Qualification and Training Programs cover all levels:
A-Higher Administrative Levels: It aims to update and upgrade data and knowledge, deepen the institutional awareness and joint empathy of the administrative work and the tasks of the higher administrative level at the college.
B-The middle Admiration Level: it aims to proliferate knowledge and experiences and exploit them in the basic issues relating to the performance of duties and tasks and enhance the effectiveness in communication and delivering knowledge to others.
C-Low Administrative Level: It aims to familiarize staff and personnel with the necessary skills in their domains in order to enable them fulfill their entitled tasks efficiently.
The programs of training and rehabilitation are prepared in coordination with the concerned departments and the implementing authorities. The programs are based on the following:
1-Type and the level of the program.
2-Determining the trainees.
3-The topics of the training courses: topics, duration, dates, and places.
-The Department of education development:
The department of the education development subsumes the following tasks which are made up of the three major components:
1.1-Planning curricula.
1.2-Identifying the needs and analyze them( Country,/ Community/Students)
1.3-Studying the opinions of experts and specialists.
1.4-Keeing abreast with the international trends.
2-Developing Curricula:
2.1 planning the content of curricula in terms of range, consequence, continuity, integration, balance.
2.2: writing the content of the curricula.
2.3 : Applying the principles of teaching and learning in preparing the content.
2.4. Consultation and experiencing.
3-Curricual Assessment:
3.1: identifying the points of weaknesses and strengths in the curricula.
3.2 Proposing modifications in the light of the feedback of the stakeholder including staff members and the members of the community.
