The Entrepreneurship Club in the Community College has organized a lecture titled ‘The role played by small and medium-sized businesses in achieving sustainability’, delivered by Dr Abdul RahmanMohdHamdi, assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration in the College. The lecture took place on Wednesday, 22/2/1440, and it outlined the concept of small and medium-sized businesses and their pivotal role in economic development. The lecturer asserted that, according to Vision 2030, it is predicted that small and medium businesses are going to contribute 20-30% of the country’s GDP in the future. The lecture also shed light on the challenges that may have to be confronted, especially when it comes to funding.
