Al-Kharj Community College held its regular Advisory Council meeting on Monday, 22/2/1441H, corresponding to 21/10/2019 in the College meeting room. Dr. Hamad Algomaizy, Dean of the College, opened the meeting with praise to Allah for the achievements of the College during the academic year 1439/1440, which were accomplished because of the aid of God Almighty and the support and directions of the rector of the University Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamed and the directions of the Vice-rector, and the support of all parties in the University. The dean welcomed the members of the College Advisory Council. During the course of the meeting, the members reviewed the items on agenda, where they listened to a brief presentation about the College and its academic programs and the future prospects of the strategic plan. The Council discussed the possibility of linking the coordinators of respective organizations with the academic departments of the College to be a step forward in facilitating the evaluation of the programs of the College by external organizations. This initiative contributes to facilitating communication channels between the College and employers. In addition, it achieves the expected integration required for the employment of the graduates in these organizations. The Council also discussed ways to enhance the role of employers in the field training and how to improve efficiency of training environment so that students can be equipped with the necessary skills. The participants listened to the questions and queries of the members of the Council, and their suggestions were included in the proposals that the College seeks to implement. In the end, Dr. Hamad Algomaizy, Dean of the College, expressed his deep thanks to the attendees for their participation, and their valuable suggestions to support the educational process at the College, and then certificates of thanks and appreciation were awarded to the guests.
