Student Affairs Unit
Under the supervision of the Executive Vice President, the Student Affairs Unit is tasked with establishing direct communication with the college's students, offering crucial supportive services such as registration and furnishing information regarding students' academic status. Furthermore, this unit serves as the vital bridge connecting the college with its students and various university entities, including the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and relevant university departments. Additionally, the unit plays a pivotal role in providing assistance and support to students approaching graduation. It encompasses several associated departments dedicated to fulfilling these diverse responsibilities.
Registration Department
This department specializes in overseeing and managing the registration processes across all academic programs, training courses, and professional tests offered by the college. Each program within various sections is assigned its own registrar, chosen based on the program's student population. A designated male or female employee from the college is assigned to each registrar position.
Admissions Department
The Admissions Department is responsible for managing the admission procedures for prospective students applying to the College of Applied Sciences. It handles applications for both free and paid programs, reviews the college's admission policies and regulations, and collaborates with the university's Deanship of Admissions and Registration.
Alumni Department
The Alumni Department is dedicated to post-graduation student engagement, fostering relationships with alumni, monitoring their progress, and collaborating with the training department. This involves designing training programs, establishing communication with employers, and assessing the alignment of the college's graduates with the labor market's requirements.
Qualification and Training Unit
This department operates under the guidance of the Executive Vice President, tasked with the identification of training requirements and the creation and coordination of vocational training initiatives. Its primary objective is to equip students with the skills necessary to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. These training programs adhere to the utmost standards of educational excellence.
Training department
This department is concerned with identifying the training needs of college students, following up the trainees during their studies, developing and organizing vocational training programs in order to qualify students to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market. These training programs are provided according to the highest standards of educational quality.
Academic Counseling department
This department is concerned with providing counseling services to students and ensuring their success through discovering their tendencies and linking them to the labor market. Thus, drawing up plans for students' professional development, guiding and advising them academically and professionally.
Extracurricular Activities department
This department is concerned with preparing the annual plan for student activities and supervising its implementation. Thus, building students personally and academically, and expanding their perceptions through participation in different activities. It also seeks to provide students with behavioral, psychological and mental skills, and to encourage them to participate in volunteer work and community service.
Development and Quality Unit
This division operates under the guidance of the Executive Assistant President and is dedicated to implementing quality concepts, gearing up for accreditation and academic evaluations, and introducing quality ideals among Applied College employees. These objectives are achieved through systematic measurement, evaluation, and training processes. The unit is actively involved in activating statistical procedures to assess the college's performance level. Furthermore, it conducts thorough data analysis, deduces insights regarding the college's academic performance, identifies excellence awards for the institution, and encourages faculty members to engage in competitions for excellence, both within and outside the university.
Department of Reports and Evidence
This department is concerned with preparing periodic and annual reports on the college's work. It also prepares the college's educational and administrative evidences.
Department of strategic planning
This department is dedicated to overseeing the strategic planning of the college, actively involved in the development, monitoring, and execution of the college's strategic plan. This ensures the attainment of optimal levels of quality, performance, and productivity.
Department of Measurement and Evaluation
This department is concerned with measuring the performance of programs in order to ensure quality in all services provided by the college, thus determining the strength points and developing improvement plans. The department also seeks to improve academic performance, advance the quality of the educational process, and develop the outcomes of the Applied College through analyzing the students’ results.
Investment and Sustainability Unit
This division operates under the supervision of the Executive Assistant President, focusing on the formulation and preparation of the college's investment strategies. It is actively involved in sourcing potential revenue streams, crafting investment initiatives, promoting educational programs and training courses, and actively monitoring, enhancing, and cultivating partnerships between the college and its collaborators. Marketing department
The primary objective of this department is to enhance the promotion and marketing of the college's products, which encompass educational programs, training courses, and the expertise of its human staff. Simultaneously, it endeavors to uplift the overall public perception of the college. Furthermore, the department is actively engaged in marketing all potential sources of income for the institution.
Partners Relations Department
This department is dedicated to maintaining communication with the college's clients and partners, ensuring they are consistently reminded of the college's readiness to serve them anew. Additionally, it actively seeks feedback regarding their opinions on the services offered by the college, encompassing programs, courses, and memorandums of understanding.
