Under the auspice of Dr. Hamd Al-Qumizi, the dean of Al-kharj Community College, the student activities organized Talent Contest Event in its fifth edition at the presence of the manger of the student clubs Mr. Rashid Al-askar, and the supervisor of the student club, Mr. Shabeeb Zamil Al-sebeai, students and faculty members. The meeting was preluded by a speech delivered by the dean, Dr. Hamd Al-Quimiz in which he emphasized the importance of students' participation in student activities and their role in embellishing the skills and experiences of the students. He also asserted the college ambition to occupy a remarkable postion among the colleges of the university and seeks to fulfill all necessary potentialities for talented students to practice their talents. Thirty students have participated in the contest where their works almost cover the different branches of the contest. A student has participated in recitation and five students in the best video montage, while three students have participated in drawing, four students in photography, four students in argumentative show, one student in the best smart phone application and three students in the best presenter. The event includes a photography exhibition and gallery for the most important photos taken by the participants and paintings. The attendees have praised the talents of the students and their abilities to effectively use their tools. The manager of the clubs extended his deep thanking to the college for its distinctive organization and the variety of participations, and the distinguished performance of the students, as he urged them to participate in the events, which are organized across the Kingdom; not to mention that their talents enable them to beat competitions and achieve prestigious positions.
