In accordance with the cooperation and social partnership, the Community College of al-Kharj has organized a visit to Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University. The event took place on Wednesday 9/3/1441 at 10:00 am, and it was under the supervision of the Vice-dean Dr Ameena Mishhan, accompanied by Dr Shiraz Mohd Othman, Business Dept coordinator, Ms Nahed Abu Zaid, head of the Computer Dept, and the social expert Ms Afnan al-Refai. The delegation also included a number of students from the Student Council in the Business and Computer Departments.They were received by dean of the College, Dr Sameera Ghamdi, PR coordinator in the College Ms Hanoof Olayyan, as well as the academic staff and the students of the College of Hotel and Accommodation Studies.A number of topics were discussed, including:- Bridging programme for diploma holders.- conditions on transfer from the Community College of al-Kharj to the Community College of Riyadh.- Areas of internship and social partnership.- Vocational test training programme.- Community College diplomas and the students’ and society’s attitude to them.Afterwards, they all made a tour of the College and had a look at:Classrooms, various units of the College, the library, the Cooking Lab, the Computer Lab, and finally the central library where the visitors were briefed on the classification and retrieval system used in the library. Towards the end of the visit, the visitors expressed their gratitude for the hospitality, and Dr Ameena Mishahan thanked Dr Gmeizy and presented a coat of arms to the dean of the College for her hospitality and warm welcome.
