On Monday 6/19/1442 AH at 11 AM, Dean of Al-kharj Community College, Professor Hamad held an open meeting on the blackboard with students enrolled on the college’s various programs. The meeting was initiated by thanking the wise leadership of the Kingdom and the university for their effort made in combating the Corona pandemic. In addition, the students were advised on such differences between study in classrooms and online that distance education has become an integral. They were debriefed on the various specializations taught at the college alongside the jobs available. His Excellency Professor Hamad also raised the students’ awareness of academic regulations and instructions, stressing the importance of reviewing study plans, attending the lectures, benefiting from all services rendered by the University and College and reviewing their academic pages to follow up assignments, announcements, absenteeism rates, excuses, deprivation, deletion and addition, academic calendar, uploaded videos about using the Blackboard and performing remote tests. The students were instructed to communicate with their academic advisors through various communication platforms to help them solve problems that may affect their academic achievement.
In addition, His Excellency the Dean praised the regularity of the study from the first week, stressing the need for students to pay attention to discipline in attending lectures and to the GPA. His Excellency also indicated the necessity for students to follow the college website, account on Twitter, and the blackboard platform to follow up updates. His Excellency also advised the students to adhere to wearing the masks, abide by the instructions of social distancing and to stay away from gatherings. His Excellency pointed out that the meeting stemmed from the college’s keenness to communicate with students and answer their observations and inquiries. He also thanked the University administration for supporting the College in achieving its educational goals. The meeting concluded with answering the questions raised by the students.
In the end, His Excellency expressed his thanks to all faculty members, staff and employees for their seriousness and activity.
