Academic planning department
The department follows the executive vice president. It attempts to improve and develop the academic performance of the college through its affiliated units. It also provides support and participates in preparing strategic plans for the various departments of the college. The department seeks to achieve integration between the applied college and the relevant external parties. The department consists of some related units such as: English Language Department The Department of English Language oversees all aspects related to English language courses within academic programs. This includes the design and development of these courses, establishment of standards for English language proficiency levels, administration of level tests and standardized assessments, as well as the creation of programs aimed at enhancing English language skills. Professional Certificates Department The Professional Certificates Department is dedicated to identifying the professional certificates essential in the Saudi job market. It ensures the alignment of these certificates with academic curricula and training initiatives. The department collaborates with certifying bodies to validate the college and its programs, organizes courses, and oversees examination processes. Programs and Curricula Department The Department of Programs and Curricula focuses on the continual development, review, and creation of study programs and courses. It strives to adapt to scientific advancements and meet the evolving needs of the labor market. The department regularly monitors and implements approved plans, establishing necessary standards and models to ensure the adherence of study plans to specified criteria and controls.
Department of Finance and Administration Affairs
The department follows the executive president assistant. It undertakes the general supervision of administrative and financial affairs in the college. It also develops plans and policies regulating work and implements them. Moreover, the department supervises the provision of the college's needs with all its departments and laboratories and it follows up services, and maintenance process for all its buildings and facilities. Human Resources Unit The department handles all administrative and human resources issues including faculty members, administrative staff, and collaborators. In addition to rehabilitating staff members and following up their administrative procedures in coordination with human resources unit at the university. Technical Affairs Unit The department is specialized in registering electronic courses for online programs and it pays attention to electronic matters such as: periodic follow-up of electronic programs in the college, programming some databases, following up and developing the college website and providing it with some information that the visitor needs and preparing meeting room, classrooms, laboratories , etc. Financial Affairs Unit The department deals with all the financial and accounting affairs of the college. It also manages and organizes the college’s income from the paid programs, courses, standardized tests, and professional certification centers. Besides, it follows up all the matters related to the college’s bank accounts, and the entitlements of the college’s employees and collaborative staff.
